Wednesday is "Senior Citizen Day" at the Melrose Kroger.
I try to avoid shopping here on these days, not because I dislike the elderly but because 1) it's too crowded, and 2) the clientele (God bless 'em!) tend to move much slower than I'd like. Yesterday, however, the Melrose Kroger was the only geographically prudent option.
Having briskly walked the length of aisle 7 and poised to make the hard right onto aisle 8, I encountered an agitated woman in her late sixties. Through missing teeth, she was yelling "whurr's the sloppy joe mix at?" over and over, louder and louder. She yelled to anyone who'd listen, which proved, sadly, to be no one.
It kind of broke my heart. So I took a picture:
Is something wrong with me?

What? You were in Target? No wonder you couldn't find the sloppy joe mix. And to answer your question, yes.
